Hadn’t been in a few months, but tonight it seemed exciting. First time I’ve ever seen Hill Tribe people wearing their traditional clothes while out and about, shopping.
Many of the people who sell vegetables are farmers up in the hills. They probably live in exceptionally rustic conditions. When they speak Thai, it’s with a different accent than the one I’m used to hearing. Thai isn’t their first language, that’s for sure.
I’ve never before seen a long-neck woman out shopping!
